run 7 miles in 7 weeksI’ve wondered for a while now what the legacy of #7days7irons should be. After all, having completed the challenge I have amassed a decent amount of followers, it would be a shame to walk away. Inspiring other people to become active was always one of my prime motivations.

So, I’m over the moon to be able to introduce my first initiative. 7 weeks to 7 miles. Purely for beginners this is a training plan that’s as much about diet, lifestyle and having fun with fitness as it is about running. If you’ve thought about running but you keep putting it off then this is the plan for you. It is very achievable even if you have never run before. I will take you from your living room to running 7 miles in just under 2 months. No matter what your fitness levels are now or what limits you place on yourself. My posts and videos will hopefully inspire you.

Firstly, let me tell you that the limits you have previously set for yourself are exactly that. Stop placing barriers in your own path and allow yourself to go forward.

I’ll make this enjoyable as much as possible, I know what it’s like to dread a training session so if I can make it fun or different I will.

But you must want to do this. Before you start really tell yourself that you are going to  nail this, no matter what. You are committed! If you convince yourself of this then you are 75% of the way there, the rest is just perseverance.
